Calling all mixologists! Do you love crafting drinks and a bit of friendly competition? Never Never Distilling Co. are on the hunt for Australian bartenders to compete in their nationwide mixology movement.

With travel reopening and life returning to the new normal, Never Never Distilling Co. are launching their new campaign to reinvigorate Australia’s hospitality industry and put an end to the shortage of workers.

Never Never are searching for some of the tastiest beverages in Australia using their own delicious Triple Juniper Gin, then rewarding those who make them with an all-expenses paid trip to their distillery door in South Australia’s beautiful McLaren Vale!

One winner from every capital city in Australia will be flown into Adelaide and will be provided with a two-day food and drink tour that will celebrate the best flavours of South Australia. The winners will sample the best the region has to offer from the hills to the coast, taking the guests on an epic flavour journey.

During their time in McLaren Vale, the winners will also compete in challenges with cash prizes up for grabs including the opportunity to be mentored by big names in the industry who Never Never will also be flying in from all over the country to judge bar challenges and lead masterclasses.

This cocktail mixing competition is open to all Australian bartenders regardless of their level of expertise! This will be a time where your concoctions and flavour pairings will do all the talking for you.  To enter, the bartenders will need to create a Never Never menu for their venue containing two drinks, one from each of the two categories:

1. “The Gin for your Tonic” – A gin and tonic utilising Never Never’s Triple Juniper Gin, tonic, and garnish.
2. “Fearless with Flavour” – A cocktail using three core ingredients (including Triple Juniper Gin).

The custom menu and creations will then need to be shared on social media with the hashtag #stepintothenevernever to be judged, in addition submitting via the campaign portal here. Entries close on Saturday 08 May 2021 with winners being announced on World Gin Day (Saturday 12 June 2021).
