Australia, are you ready to get hands-on with PATRÓN Tequila and artisanal Melbourne ceramicist for date night?
This November PATRÓN Tequila are bringing their appreciation for fine craftsmanship directly to you, so you can wrap your hands around some of their delicious spirit while you’re guided through an online ceramics masterclass.
Now, PATRÓN Tequila are teaming up with Melbourne-based ceramic artist Tantri Mustika to bring together a virtual ceramics masterclass that Australians, regardless of their location, can attend while sipping on delicious cocktails – name a better date night activity at home… This is your chance to learn a new skill and hand craft your own gorgeous succulent planters that you can keep forever, or give as a personalised gift just in time for Christmas.
Hailing from Collingwood, Melbourne, Tantri is an Australian artist who produces one-of-a-kind, handmade ceramics including her well-known terrazzo tiles – a style of ceramics originating from Venice (Italy) that is used to create a beautiful style of flooring that’s mixed with marble offcuts. Today, the style, first used by workers hundreds of years ago, is still a much sought-after craft, but Tantri takes it to the next level with beautiful pots and vases lovingly created in a modern twist on this unique artform.
“There is a very different level of care that goes into handmade ceramics and I’m looking forward to sharing this during the masterclass,” says Tantri.
Tantri’s exquisite craftsmanship runs parallel to the time and effort invested by PATRÓN Tequila, making these two the perfect pair for a collaboration. Tantri says, “I am excited to be hosting the PATRÓN masterclass in the hope that I can show even just one person what I get from working with clay.”
The masterclass is an exclusive online event bringing the fine craftsmanship of Tantri Mustika and PATRÓN Tequila together. There are only 40 tickets available, which are no-doubt going to be snapped up quickly.
Tantri will be guiding attendees from start to finish through the creation of two succulent planters with colourful ceramics, right in their own homes. Each ticket, priced at $40 each, includes a box put together by PATRÓN and the artist, which will arrive directly to your door prior to the evening.
The kit for the night includes air-dry clay to create the succulent planters as well as any clay tools you might need. You’ll also receive two 50mL PATRÓN Tequila bottles, two martini glasses and a PATRÓN Tequila bee strainer so you can create your favourite PATRÓN cocktail at home to really get those creative juices flowing. We’re thinking classic margaritas will pair perfectly with some artisanal crafts, but this world-class tequila tastes good any way you serve it.
It really is the perfect time to make something beautiful with your hands, slow down and take stock before the busy Christmas period. Plus, if you’re stuck on at-home date night ideas, this PATRÓN ceramics masterclass will have you and your special someone spicing things up in no time.
Tantri says, “We live in a world where things are made so quickly and in a lot of cases disposed of just as fast, but I think times are changing and people are starting to appreciate slow crafted items as things they will keep for a long time.”
If this sounds like the perfect night in for you and a loved one, masterclass tickets are available on Eventbrite. Make sure to snap one up before it’s too late, and prepare for a fun night in with PATRÓN cocktails, Tantri Mustika and a hands-on ceramic project.

There’s no denying that PATRÓN Tequila knows what hand-crafted means. Each bottle of their world-famous tequila boasts an incredible 60 hands needed to create the formula. From the harvesting of the agave to the crushing, distilling, bottling and local glass artists who produce the iconic PATRÓN bottle; a lot of precision, care and craftsmanship is poured into the creation of this product each and every time.
Even though PATRÓN is distributed and loved worldwide, it’s still produced in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, in the same small batches, and with the same commitment to quality and craftsmanship they have always upheld.
