Sydneysiders are in for a peculiar treat as Hendrick’s Gin launches a first-of-its-kind bar in the sky.
The Most Unusual Balloon Bar, making its maiden voyage in Darling Harbour on Saturday 05 December 2020, will see guests enjoying the opportunity to fly at an elevation equivalent to over 170 cucumbers above one of Sydney’s most iconic locations, all whilst sipping on a classic Gin and Tonic.

Hendrick’s Gin’s Most Unusual Balloon Bar in the Sky will take centre stage to disrupt and delight Sydney’s Darling Harbour from 3pm till 9pm. Available for one day only, this summer’s most exclusive bar will offer Sydneysiders the opportunity to escape the conventional and embrace the delectable, enjoying Hendrick’s world-famous gin as they experience a divine view of the exquisite sights of Sydney.
Guests will also enjoy a hamper of Hendrick’s-themed goodies to pay homage to Hendrick’s hero partner, the humble cuke, as they grace Sydney skies.
The extraordinary gin experience is available exclusively via the official website, so curious minds with a penchant for the peculiar must be quick to avoid missing out. At 9am AEDT on Monday 30 November, Australians will be able to book exclusive sessions on a first-come, first-served basis.

As part of the most unusual summer, Hendrick’s Gin has also pioneered the Tini Martini, offering Sydneysiders the opportunity to banish boredom by enjoying Hendrick’s distinctively delectable drink of choice, a gin martini in miniature form.
Curious consumers can collect a Tini Martini from the ‘Hendrick’s Cucumber Bar’ situated at Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour, before swapping their martini glass for a free Hendrick’s gin and tonic. These purveyors of the peculiar can revel at the sight of Hendrick’s Most Unusual Balloon Bar while enjoying their complimentary beverage from participating venues across Sydney Harbour including PS40, Helm Bar & Bistro, The Barbershop, Café Del Mar, Planar, Prince of York, The Swinging Cat and Champagne Bar at Sofitel Darling Harbour.
