Think a pink ferry along the Yarra River, a decadent picnic for two, a dedicated Service Stylist and personalised designer pyjamas… all included in your Melbourne-bound getaway.
The Langham Melbourne certainly know how to spoil their guests, and if there was ever a time for spoiling, it is now. After a turbulent year, especially for Melbournians, it’s time for a little self-indulgence, a little pampering and a whole lot of style. And the best way to do that is to escape from your home and jump into a spacious bed fitted with a set of crisp white sheets…
Since restrictions lifted The Langham, Melbourne rolled out the pink carpet along with several decadent hotel packages for guests to experience, all available until Wednesday 30 June 2021.
But what’s on offer? Sit back, relax and start mentally packing for your ultimate hotel escape thanks to one of these four incredible, all-inclusive packages:
1. Stay in the Pink Package
The Langham’s Stay in the Pink Package is available from $445.00 per room, per night and includes overnight accommodation, a complimentary upgrade, valet parking, room service breakfast for two, a $100.00 credit towards dining in the hotel (that can be used for room service or at Melba Restaurant or Aria Bar & Lounge) and late check-out (subject to availability). The Shades of Australia Package is available from $830.00 per room for two nights.
2. Celebrate the Everyday Package
The Celebrate the Everyday Package is available from just $395.00 per room, per night and includes breakfast for two at Melba Restaurant, a bottle of premium sparkling wine on arrival, an in-room movie, valet parking and a leisurely late check-out of 3pm (subject to availability). While the hotel’s most premium package, Suite Arrival is available from $5850.00 and offers the ultimate luxury experience including two nights in the hotel’s Chairman’s Suite, as well as the opportunity to be amongst the first to experience The Langham, Melbourne’s newest arrival, The Langham, Melbourne boat.
In partnership with Melbourne Boat Hire, the Langham’s new tender will ferry guests on a leisurely hour-long cruise on the Yarra River. The novel experience includes the hottest Melbourne meal trend of 2020, a decadent picnic for two including a choice of sparkling, red or white wine and a varied selection of sweet and savoury dishes featuring plenty of locally-grown and sourced produce.
3. Suite Arrival Package
Guests who choose to book the Suite Arrival will be greeted upon arrival by their dedicated Service Stylist who will be able to assist with everything from unpacking to arranging spa treatments and restaurant reservations, private dining requests and more for the duration of their stay. In addition to being greeted by their own Service Stylist, upon arrival guests will be presented with two pairs of Wanderluxe Sleepwear designer pyjamas (personalisation is available in advance, upon request), a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rosé Champagne, stunning fresh flowers and seasonal fruit.
Each morning the daily breakfast in bed will be accompanied by a glass of French Champagne – something sure to be a welcome change of scenery after months of meal preparation, cooking and cleaning at home. A dinner for two including wine served in the privacy of the suite is also included and available on either night of the two-night stay.
There will be no time for streaming indecision as guests will also enjoy access to the hotel’s exclusive Club Lounge where guests enjoy morning and afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canapés, plus guests will also be able to enjoy a private dining experience in the comfort of the Chairman’s Suite as well as spa treatments at Chuan Spa (until further notice, Chuan Spa will only be open on weekends). Better yet, Aria Bar & Lounge recently introduced an indulgent caviar and Champagne pairing which is also included in the Suite Arrival package.
A behind-the-scenes tour of nearby Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC), a guided walking tour of the city’s famous laneways by revered experts, Local Tours and a lunchtime cruise in The Langham, Melbourne’s new boat complete with a romantic picnic for two rounds out the Suite Arrival experience.
4. Glamping Package
After tackling home-schooling, the absence of sport and so much more, every family deserves a night or two away to celebrate and break-up their daily routine. The hotel’s new Glamping Package is ideal for young families and includes a one-bedroom suite with an interconnecting twin room as well as an Insta-worthy hideaway with bedding and cushions. Children will receive a backpack filled with activities including bubbles, colouring pencils and an activity book that will keep them occupied for hours. The children will look adorable in kid-sized bathrobes and the slippers will be a gift to take home and a reminder of their stay. Of course, no stay would be complete without a delicious milkshake and freshly baked teddy bear biscuit for each child. The Glamping package is available from $565.00 and accommodates up to two adults and two children.
