The grown-up floral version of ‘pass the parcel’ is here.
While our much-loved friends in Melbourne are in lockdown again, we wanted to explore how we could lift the spirits of those from afar. And we think we’ve found it.
Tori Allen Events is spreading the love one pretty posy at a time with its popular Positive Parcels initiative. Not only will the fresh florals light up your loved one’s face, but yours too – knowing that $5 from every purchase will be donated to Headspace Australia to help bring hope across Australia during this tough time.
The Positive Parcels initiative has now expanded its range of posies to share with family, friends, loved ones or even yourself to help bring cheer in our lives with new floral arrangements for the home.
“We saw the success of the Positive Parcels the first time and we want to help keep spirits high by delivering flowers to anyone who might be having a rough time, for a birthday or even for people who want to treat themselves with flowers for their own home, especially while we’re all spending more time in them,” says Founder of Tori Allen Events, Tori Allen.
“Tori Allen Events started with me making posy arrangements in my living room” she continues, “and Positive Parcels has given the team and I hope and drive during lockdown. With florists closed and people’s movements so limited, we want to make it easier for everyone else to send flowers and support the local flower industry.”
The modern-day ‘pass the parcel’ is the perfect remedy to help Melbournians through this current stage of lockdown and spread positivity within the community. Once you’ve received a parcel, you’re encouraged to pass it on and purchase one for someone else to bring hope and let them know you’re thinking of them even when you can’t be there in person.
Pick from small seasonal arrangments, to beautifully preserved everlasting bouquets, all from Positive Parcels website.
