The Bavarian arrives in Wollongong with a 500 free hotdog bonanza.
The Bavarian will open its doors at Wollongong Central shopping centre, on Thursday, 20 May 2019 and boasts a 330 guest capacity, including 100 seats outdoors.
It is Rockpool Dining Group’s 30th Bavarian restaurant, opening just after the newest member in Maitland. The Wollongong restaurant joins the ever-growing list of eateries in NSW including The Bavarians at Bondi Beach, Castle Hill, Chatswood, Entertainment Quarter, Manly Wharf, Miranda, Rouse Hill, Penrith, Shellharbour, Wetherill Park, World Square, The Bavarian Beerhaus at York Street and Munich Brauhaus in The Rocks.

1. Free Hotdogs.
Yep, that’s right, on opening day (30 May) from 11 am, The Bavarian will be handing out 500 FREE hotdogs to their customers. Reason enough.
2. All the German-influenced food you can eat.
The family-friendly menu offers something for everyone, including traditional Bavarian favourites, such as crispy pork knuckle, crackling pork belly, a range of classic German and gourmet sausages and shared platters. Lighter bites include chicken wings, spicy squid and build-your-own salads from a checklist of fresh ingredients.
3. There’s a snack attack.
Happy hour just got a whole lot happier. The restaurant will launch with complimentary ‘Royal Snacks’ available during happy hour from 4pm to 6pm daily. Guests who purchase a selected drink can choose from mini sausage rolls, Texan sloppy fries and Cajun popcorn chicken. And FYI there are 20 beers on tap including imported Bavarian favourites Lowenbrau, Franziskaner, Stiegl and Hofbrau to wash it all down with.
