Fratelli Fresh has just launched their regular pizza masterclasses at their Bridge St, Sydney establishment, starting every saturday afternoon at 3pm.
Learn the art of making pizza dough, how to stretch and toss it like an expert pizzaiolo, then top it with your favourite ingredients and bake it in their wood-fired oven.
The classes will be hosted by Fratelli Fresh Head Pizza Chef William Baffoni, a trained pizzaiolo from a village close to Rome.
William will show guests how to prepare a classic Napolitan base, which is used for Fratelli pizzas, and has fermented for 24 hours.
“We chose a Neapolitan base because they cook really quickly so we can get pizzas out swiftly in our restaurants, which are very busy. They have a big crust with a soft, tender and fragrant base.”
After the masterclasses, guests can enjoy their delicious creation with a glass of wine at the pizza bar and will get to take home an apron and a ball of dough, so they can make a pizza at home.
Melbourne-ite’s don’t fret because there are classes in the works for you too.
