There’s no tricks needed. Aussie dogs tails will be wagging thanks to Krispy Kreme’s dog-friendly doughnuts.
Are you pawing around trying to find the perfect treat for your furry friend? Well, if you love to spoil your pooch just as much as what you love to treat your tastebuds, then you’ll be running rings thanks to Krispy Kreme Australia’s newest launch.
Dog-friendly and just in time for International Dog Day on Thursday 26 August, Krispy Kreme has unveiled for Australian dog owners the arrival of their limited-edition release: the Doggie Doughnut ($14.95).
In partnership with Huds and Toke, a small independent Queensland-based business specialising in healthy pet treats, each Doggie Doughnut is inspired by an iconic Krispy Kreme doughnut. Similar in appearance to the real deal, Doggie Doughnuts are all natural, handmade, nutty-based, low in fat and contains no added salt, sugar or preservatives.
With six flavours to choose from including Original Glazed, Choc Cookie, Choc Sprinkles, Choc Iced, Strawberry Sprinkles and Choc Cheesecake; Doggie Doughnuts by Krispy Kreme and Huds and Toke are designed specifically for our wet-nosed friends.
Using ingredients like carob and yoghurt, despite being the ulti-mutt sweet treat, Doggie Doughnuts contain dental cleaning benefits and last longer than the usual cookie for your dog’s ultimate chewing enjoyment.
Emma Gibbons, Founder of Huds and Toke says, “We wanted to perfectly recreate the details of each iconic doughnut so owners could get “matchy-matchy” with their pets! It’s the best fun.”
“It’s also our biggest manufacturing project to date and awesome to have a brand as influential as Krispy Kreme reaching out to a small Aussie business like ours”, said Gibbons.
An exclusive, limited-edition release, Krispy Kreme Doggie Doughnuts have been made specifically made for animals from 100 per cent Aussie-made ingredients from a HACCP Accredited facility in Queensland. Of course, humans are advised to enjoy the real Krispy Kreme doughnut.
Available now to purchase, Doggie Doughnuts can be purchased at all Krispy Kreme Australia stores via online with next day delivery, click and collect and at the following drive-thru stores:

Olivia Sutherland, Marketing Director at Krispy Kreme Australia says, “At Krispy Kreme we love to share and who better to enjoy a Krispy Kreme moment with than your true best friend?
