Starting from November and running until April 2021, Market Grounds in Perth’s CBD will be hosting a range of summer festivities inside their popular inner-city beer garden, The Grounds. Here to appease all tastebuds, the series will include the Gin Tonica Festival, Perth’s first Margarita Festival, an Espresso Martini Festival and more.
Starting Market Grounds cocktail Summer Festival, on Sunday 29 November, the Gin Tonica Festival will showcase a range of both local and international gin distillers including Hendrick’s Gin, Bombay Sapphire and Margaret River’s very own Giniversity. With tickets starting from $25pp, each pass also include two drinks of choice, so you can experience a few gin and tonics while enjoying the roving entertainment, stalls, and gin-inspired treats.
Continuing on Market Grounds Summer Festival is Perth’s first Margarita Fiesta planning to hit The Grounds on Sunday 28 February 2021. For one day Perthlings will be able to enjoy a day jam-packed with tacos and tequila – what could be better? It’s a combination not many will shy away from, so make sure you experience the frozen margaritas, mariachi bands and Mexican food stalls at this not-to-be-missed event. If you’d rather be tantalised by flavoursome nibbles, a trio of Long Lunch series at Market Grounds will also running throughout November and December; providing guests with a three-course gourmet meal and two hours of free-flowing drinks. The event will run over three Saturdays; 14 November, 21 November, and 05 December – it’s the perfect excuse to get the gang together for a relaxing Saturday of spritzes, prosecco, alcoholic iced-tea and curated seasonal share plates. A sold out event in previous years, festival-goers can look forward to more boozy stalls, activities and entertainment than ever before.
