What are plums good for?
Naturally containing more antioxidants than other plum varieties, the Queen Garnet Plum has proved to decrease inflammation, blood pressure and fat levels in hypersensitive and overweight humans. Better yet, the Queen Garnet Plums also helps reduce the symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease.
So, to help you enjoy all that the Queen Garnet Plum season has to offer as well as the warm weather whilst it lasts, grab some popsicle moulds and get stuck in to making this easy homemade Sweet Plum Swirl Ice-Cream Block recipe!

INGREDIENTS
2 cups plain thick Greek yoghurt
½ cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
1 cup frozen Queen Garnet Plums (cored and sliced)
100mL Queen Garnet Plum Nectar
METHOD
1. Place the yoghurt, maple syrup and vanilla in a bowl and whisk to combine.
2. Then, place three tablespoons of the yoghurt mixture, the plums and nectar in a blender and blend until smooth. Set aside.
3. Layer alternate spoonfuls of the yoghurt and plum mixtures into six popsicle moulds, tapping gently on the bench to remove air bubbles.
4. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for 4–5 hours or until firm. Remove the pops from the moulds and enjoy.
