Good things come to those who wait – and this is one deal you’ll most certainly want to wait for.
Not happy with simply offering delicious and expansive range of restaurants and cuisines nationwide, Australia’s favourite app-based food delivery service, Menulog, has proven to go the extra mile this year, thanks to their newest cheap-as-chips delivery deal.
Perfect for those who embody the saying that ‘good things come to those who wait’ or simply just like to dig-into a delicious delivered dinner (breakfast or lunch) at a time that is considered as off-peak, Menulog is treating you to a delivery fee, everyday, for just $1.99.
Allowing Aussies to cut back on delivery fees and splurge a little more on their rumbling tummies (we’re looking at you 3am in-bed kebab fix), from late October, Menulog has offered all Australian customers a deal too good to be true.
This offer is available for most Menulog orders made in the morning and afternoon (between 5am and 4pm), and late night orders (9.30pm – 5am). Delivered on demand, Menulog’s new $1.99 delivery fee sees a reduction of more than 60% – all covered by Menulog. This means that the restaurants and food couriers maintain all existing funds received per order. Now that’s a winner-winner chicken dinner situation.
Menulog Managing Director, Morten Birk Belling, said, “As food delivery remains an essential service for many, the new $1.99 everyday delivery fee will save customers tens of millions of dollars in delivery fees every year.”
“We’ve seen customers shift to ordering a broader range of items on demand, whether it’s a morning coffee or an easy lunch when working from home. With this trend in mind, having a reduced fee for off-peak Menulog-delivered orders aims to drive more business for restaurant partners in these traditionally quieter times. In turn, this also provides more delivery opportunities for couriers, who will maintain their existing delivery fees per order,” said Menulog’s managing director, Morten Birk Belling.
This deal is available nationwide right now, excluding McDonald’s and Hungry Jack’s, (which still offers $1.99 for breakfast and late-night order), and all KFC orders; all you need to do is pick from one of Menulog’s more than 14,000 delivery restaurants via the Menulog app or website, order and your $1.99 delivery rate will be automatically applied.
