Goody Two's
When hospitality masterminds Andy Freeman, Eamon Sullivan and Scott Bridger come together to create an underground Japanese whisky and cocktail bar, you know it is going to be something special. Hidden on Hibernian Place, Goody Two’s is a late-night Japanese bar enticing locals with its lengthy selection of drinks including a three-page Japanese whisky menu. With whisky flights and creative cocktails, Goody Two’s also serves up a delectable selection of bar snacks including Pork Belly Bites, Fried Squid Legs and Pork Dumplings.

Hifumiya Udon Noodle House
If you’ve ever travelled along Murray Street in Perth’s CBD and noticed a long line outside of a quaint looking Japanese restaurant, chances are you’ve found Hifumiya Udon Noodle House. Opening their doors in early 2018, Hifumiya is the first-ever udon noodle house to open in Perth’s city. With just 20 dishes on their menu, warm udon, cold udon and rice bowls. For your visit we recommend trying the Spicy Miso Pork that’s topped with fresh chili, bean sprouts and spicy miso broth. After one visit, you’ll soon realise why Hifumiya Udon Noodle House is one of the best Japanese restaurants around Perth.

James Parker Sushi & Sake
When it comes to traditional Japanese dining, James Parker Sushi & Sake does it best. Found in Northbridge, James Parker specialises in highlighting Japanese delicacies in a truly unique atmosphere. Not too sure what to try? The Yuzu Vinaigrette Watermelon with eggplant and okura is simply delightful. And the JP Wagyu Beef Diced Steak with a side of Lotus Chips is sure to fill you up. When we think of Perth’s best Japanese restaurants, we think of Nobu. This internationally recognised fine-dining restaurant is a must try on any Perth foodies list. Fusing Japanese cuisine with South American flavours, Nobu is renowned for its delectable mix of cold and signature hot dishes. For your visit we recommend the Okra with Jalapeño Aioli, Salmon Sashimi with Nashi Pear and the Wagyu Beef tacos.
