Light, airy, and simply delicious. When we think of the best breakfast in Hobart, we instantly think of Ginger Brown. Despite their rave reviews and pour in of visitors, Ginger Brown creates a personalised, welcoming touch for every visitor, local or not. Focusing on the food, Ginger Brown’s menu is filled with a delicious array of eats to get you through the morning including crumpets, a Garlic Mushroom Omelette, a Burrito Bowl and, our personal favourite, the Blue Butterfly Tea Chia Pudding served with mango puree and coconut yoghurt. A must visit in 2024!

Machine Laundry Cafe
Found just a touch away from Salamanca Market, Machine Laundry Cafe is all about bright lights, good food, even better coffee and, interestingly, finding the cure to your hangover. This place is quirky and fun and the team behind this Battery Point establishment truly reflect this. Modern and delicious, their menu includes the likes of Parmesan and Pancetta Pancakes, Eggs Florentine with caramelised onions and granola bowls that are mouth-watering and fun to spoon through. One of our favourite Hobart cafes you must try in 2024!

Pigeon Hole

Open for breakfast through to late lunch, this West Hobart cafe focuses on using freshly grown local produce all sourced at Weston Farm.
