The day has finally come – we’ve been treated to malty goodness thanks to Krispy Kreme.
You’ve been teased, but now you can sink your teeth into Krispy Kreme’s newest limited-edition collaboration with one of Australia’s favourite chocolatey snacks – Maltesers.
That’s right. The same brand that brought you Malteser spread, Malteaster Bunny’s, Malteser family-sized bags (a movie essential), Maltesers Milk Chocolate Blocks, truffles, ice-cream and let’s not forget, Party Buckets, which are dangerously easy to polish off in one sitting (on your own…), have now partnered with the world’s favourite doughnut brand, Krispy Kreme.
Krispy Kreme’s Food Technologist (yes that is a real job), Tasha Kaur says, “Together with Maltesers®, we set out to create the ultimate chocolate doughnut. After plenty of product trials and taste testing, we’re thrilled to finally share our creation with the chocolate lovers of Australia!”
So what can you expect from the Maltesers Doughnut?

Starting with a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut, Krispy Kreme hand-dip this sweet-treat into a milk chocolate ganache and then top with a piping of malted chocolate crème then finish with Malteser embellishments providing the ultimate soft-to-crunch consistency per bite.
An orgasmic and heavenly taste to say the least.
With both brands launching in 1937, this power-collaboration is one of Australia’s most anticipated treats – one of which will surely send the nation into a doughnut frenzy.
Want to find your nearest Krispy Kreme? It will be available at all 30+ Krispy Kreme Australia locations from Tuesday 03 March, followed by Australia’s 700+ 7-Eleven stores and select BP’s from Friday 06 March until Thursday 02 April 2020.
