Winter is coming!

Melbourne, throughout the duration of winter, Auburn Hotel will be embracing the season by hosting a pop-up winter igloo garden in collaboration with Wild Turkey American Honey.

Located on the rooftop space of Auburn Hotel in Hawthorn East, Melbournites will be able to enjoy their evening wrapped up inside the pop-up igloos. Decorated with fairy lights and large fluffy blankets to cuddle up to, the highlight of the experience will in no doubt be the intricate dishes and cocktails designed specifically for the event.

The menu, which was inspired by the smooth, sweet and warm flavours of American Honey, includes the likes of chocolate fondue with strawberries, popcorn and marshmallows to a selection of cured meats, 18 hour braised lamb shoulder, rosemary potatoes with sauteed kale and finally pumpkin risotto that’s part of their vegetarian shared dining menu.

Of course, their winter igloo garden-inspired cocktails will pair perfectly with their food options. Melbournians can indulge in everything from an espresso martini, an old fashioned, a hot toddy and even a pineapple and mint julep – all made with Australia’s most loved bourbon: Wild Turkey American Honey.

Comfortably accommodating up to 28 people per igloo, Auburn Hotel is also catering for intimate groups of up to eight guests for their smaller igloo packages. Bookings essential.
