Pinkies down and bottoms up Sydney, there’s a new boozy tequila high tea experience coming this April!
High tea, it’s the traditional sit-down treat where an orchestrated assortment of delightful finger food is served on beautifully made fine China. Usually accompanied by warm pots of tea as guests relish on their etiquacy, this April 2024, high tea as we know it will be changing.
Collaborating with Aussie icon and personality, Abbie Chatfield, Jose Cuervo will be heading down under for a limited boozy high tea experience: High Tea-Quila.
Hosted at Mexican cocktail bar, El Primo Sanchez, the reimagined high tea experience, High Tea-Quila, will be available for only two days this April in hopes to put a modern twist on the outdated tradition.
The first of its kind in Australia, High Tea-Quila will see Sydneysiders snapping up tequila laden cocktails instead of the signature teas we would once swoon over.
Available to book in 90-minute sessions for just $50 per person, Sydney’s High Tea-Quila includes three-and-a-half drinks accompanied by an assortment of finger food such as Scones with Bitter Orange and Tequila Jam, a Mexican Finger Sandwich, Barbacoa Brisket, Chilled Prawns, a Chorizo con Papas Slider, Potato Bread and, our favourite, the Margarita Cheesecake.
Welcoming groups of two, four and six, Jose Cuervo’s High Tea-Quila promises to be the event of the season!
