The third-generation 2020 BMW X6 is on its way and will be in Australia well before Christmas.
Australians are mad for the big fella X6. Based on the X5 SUV (BMW insists on calling them Sports Activity Vehicles, but I don’t), the X6 has been massive for the Munich brand here in Australia.
And still, it’s a massive car. New for the 2020 X6 is a bold new look with that new grille that has everyone talking. It’s not as big as the krill-strainer on the X7 but it’s not far behind.
The new X6 will be available with three engines – including the super-fast 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 from the M5 super-sedan.
Inside is a stack of new technology including the Live Cockpit digital dashboard, the new BMW Operating System 7.0 multimedia and navigation system and plenty of things to make any journey comfortable.
The 2020 X6 will be here by the end of 2019, priced between $121,900 for the 30d, $124,900 for the 30i and $155,900 for the M50i.
