A new alcohol delivery service called Boozi has appropriately launched during this self-isolation age. Sydney, please make welcome Boozi, your new tipple buddy!
Debuting today (Wednesday 8 April), this new initiative formed by Wats On Events aims to reinvigorate the shaken and stirred households of Sydney’s inner suburbs. Even if it’s simply delivering bevvies to the confines of your living room!
“If there’s one thing our team has always been passionate about its good booze, good times and great service,” says Michael Watson, Founder of Wats On Events.
“So when the corona crisis hit, wiping out our core industry, it made sense to pour our love and resources into creating an alcohol delivery service. We may no longer be able to create unique experiences, but we can still deliver the goods to the people of Sydney.
“Keep your ‘gin’ up and get Boozi!”
These guys will initially deliver within a 15-kilometre radius of the Sydney CBD – to Pymble in the North, Bexley in the South, Bondi in the East and Sydney Olympic Park in the West. And customers can choose from three delivery options:
- Pronto: Get your booze delivered chilled within the hour.
- Same Day: Exactly as it sounds!
- Anytime: Simply choose a day and time you need a good drink.
As well as bespoke delivery options, Boozi will be offering a large range of beer, wines and spirits – including mixers and garnishes. Because when life gives you lemons, add a little gin and tonic!

And because the team at Boozi knows you might be craving a good time, they’ll throw in a cheeky delivery game to boot. When the driver drops off your order, they will challenge you to a game of rock, paper, scissors. If you beat the driver, you will win an instant prize and a discount on your next Boozi order. Of course, social distancing rules will apply!
Plus, regardless of your rock, paper, scissors skills, the first 100 orders will receive a free bottle of wine.
