Cointreau Piña Margarita Recipe

Perfect whether it’s summer or not, this Cointreau Piña Margarita recipe will have drinkers thinking they are lounging poolside year-round. Slightly sweeter than your classic margarita, thanks to the cinnamon sugar rim, you’ll be tasting a blissful blend of indulgence meets character.

INGREDIENTS

20mL Cointreau
45mL Sierra Silver Tequila
20mL fresh lime juice
15mL fresh pineapple juice
Cinnamon sugar
Lime wedge

METHOD

1. Using a lime wedge, run the lime along the rim of your cocktail glass then dip the rim into a plate of cinnamon sugar to lightly coat.

2. Next, add the remaining ingredients into an ice-filled shaker. Shake well.

3. Strain and pour the margarita into your cinnamon sugar-rimmed glass. Garnish with a fresh pineapple leaf or slice.

Tip: To make a deliciously edible garnish, grill or dehydrate your pineapple for that touch of luxury to your cocktail hour at home.


Cointreau Strawberry & Basil Margarita Recipe

This Cointreau Strawberry & Basil Margarita recipe is incredibly refreshing thanks to the charismatic blend of ingredients. Sensational to drink, it is easy to make at home, making for an irresistible delicious concoction for any at-home happy hour.

INGREDIENTS

20mL Cointreau
45mL Sierra Silver Tequila
20mL fresh lime juice
2 strawberries
1 basil leaf
Lime wedge
Salt

METHOD

1. Using a lime wedge, run the lime along the rim of your rocks glass then dip the rim into a plate of salt to lightly coat.

2. Next place the strawberries and basil into a shaker. Muddle to form a slushy-like consistency. Add the remaining ingredients into an ice-filled shaker and shake.

3. Finally, fine strain the margarita mixture into the salt-rimmed rocks glass and top with ice. Garnish with a strawberry and basil leaf.
