How does a 3 ingredient cocktail sound?
Amazing, we know. Cocktail Hunter has been busy with his/her friends at Bar Patrón By Rockpool. They’ve been spending a lot of time together – testing, trying, creating and making some of the bars’ premium cocktails. They’ve been having way too much fun. But Cocktail Hunter did come back, earlier this week, with this gem – a Tommy’s Margarita.
Nothing quite screams ‘summer party’ like a Tommy’s Margarita (…perhaps the beach). Hailing from San Francisco, this margarita variant is distinct from the traditional ‘marg in its omission of orange liquor (commonly Cointreau) and it’s inclusion of agave nectar or syrup.
Picture this: a warm summer afternoon with friends. We’re thinking an antipasto platter or two, a big bowl of prawns and a decent serving of guacamole and chips. Paired with an endless supply of Tommy’s Margaritas and a splash of fairy lights – because, pretty.
Sound good? Better take note of the below then.
INGREDIENTS:
- 50ml Patrón Roca Silver
- 20ml lime juice
- 10ml agave syrup
METHOD:
Combine Patrón, lime juice and agave syrup, and stir together. Grab a short glass and add a handful of large ice cubes. Strain the mix into the glass …and drink! Repeat as many times as required!
