You’ve heard of square watermelons and Buddha shaped pears. But cotton candy grapes?
Grape Co. are the masters behind the idea. Taking an already sweet and loving fruit and transforming it into a much sweeter twist – without the guilt.
Australian company Grape Co. was founded in 1971 and later began their re-branding in 2013, with an aim for their produce to have cutting edge varieties and of course the best quality the nation has to offer.
Grape Co. do just that.
Biting into the traditional green coloured grape, you may be surprised by it’s similarity to fairy floss. Something traditional grape eaters aren’t used to. With flavours such as Cotton Candy, Candy Hearts and Sweet Sapphire – something that has taken the Australian grape market to a sweet surprise.
Like any traditional grape, Grape Co.’s produce is grown on farms around Mildura, Victoria.
The seeds aren’t rolled in fairy floss flavouring; farmers have just used natural crossbreeding pollination techniques to create the sweet, crisp treats. Surprisingly, their products are also GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) free.
Working closely with Californian company, International Fruit Genetics, there’s no doubt that Grape Co.’s produce are of the highest quality with of course that fresh, delicious taste.
Grape Co.’s varieties include:
- Cotton Candy – a green seedless grape with likeness to fairy floss.
- Candy Hearts – red seedless grape with high notes of rich butterscotch.
- Sweet Sapphire – black, sweet and crisp grape perfect for snacking.
The healthy treats are great for the entire family and can be found in selected Woolworths and Coles in Australia (except for W.A), plus a handful of specialty grocers in Sydney.
