Handcrafted using Australian grain – get ready to discover the newest vodka range to hit Australia’s shelves.

Vodka is getting a facelift in 2021 thanks to the launch of a new vodka range by Australian Distilling Co. The two vodkas – Australian Distilling Co. Vodka and Adelaide Vodka – are the first of many new releases this year as the brand continues to expand.

“We’re constantly working to evolve our brand and it just so happens that vodka was next on our agenda,” said Australian Distilling Co. founder, Michael Hickinbotham. “We’re extremely excited to grow and add these new spirits to our range; they’re complementary to and the perfect partner for our gin.”

Australian Distilling Co. is no stranger to the spirit industry, with 13 gin brands to its name, each of which embodies an Australian region or state through its unique combination of local ingredients. The expansion into vodka production reflects the company’s strong position as more than just a gin company, setting them apart from the rest of its competition.

“The only way to truly capture the essence of a place is to create within it,” says the team at ADCo. “Our master distiller explored local ingredients to create vodkas that embrace the spirit of the city or region.”

The flagship release part of the collection, Australian Distilling Co. Vodka, is handcrafted using Australian grain, the purest in the world, expertly distilled using carbon filter and pristine Australian water sourced from natural springs. The result is a supremely smooth and elegant vodka that is distinctly pure of spirit.

As for the Adelaide Vodka, it is a pure and sophisticated expression of an elegant city. Triple distilled from premium grapes and spring water from the Adelaide Hills, this artisan-crafted spirit is silky smooth with a fine character.

Both vodkas harness unique flavour profiles requiring different ways of serving.

“Australian Distilling Co. Vodka is perfect with fresh grapefruit juice over ice and topped with soda water and a lime wedge,” says the team at ADCo. “While Adelaide Vodka has a classic smooth profile that works well simply served with a good quality soda water and a heavy-handed squeeze of lime for flavour.”

This is the first of many spirit launches for Australian Distilling Co. this year, with new releases on the horizon.

“We are building distilleries in cities around Australia, starting with Adelaide, with stills planned for Darwin, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Geelong,” says the team at ADCo. “Naturally, our vodka line will also continue to grow in the future, [where] we plan to make vodkas in each city.”
