Australia’s most gentlemen-ly grooming emporium, Men’s Biz, has opened a new barber store in Sydney’s iconic Strand Arcade.
It’s the place to brood with pride, a dark and moody shop on the second floor of the Strand Arcade. Men’s Biz is all about men’s business, boasting classic grooming store features housing a carefully curated selection of the best international hair styling brands. Departing from the old-world barbershop aesthetic, this six-chair barbershop specialises in lavish hot towel shaves, classic style haircuts, and trims for your facial growths. The interior decoration shouts in refined, macho tones, from the bold green textual wallpaper (by Valeria Zaltron, entitled Living Garden) to the salient crocodile installation on the ceiling.
Men’s Biz commenced as an online store in 2006 and quickly developed a cult following for their distinctive range of men’s grooming products. The brand continued to expand and eventually, the owner and founder Nathan Jancauskas capitalised on the opportunity to create a dedicated space for men. In 2014, he launched the first brick and mortar store in Melbourne’s Royal Arcade, paving the way for more stores to come, including a Sydney flagship store, another Melbourne store on Collins Square and most recently a store at Canberra Monaro Mall.
Men’s Biz houses the classiest brands – both traditional and modern – from the likes of Jack Black skincare; Geo. F. Trumper shaving creams and brushes; Merkur Solingen double edge razors; and Dovo Solingen cut-throat razors and manicure tools. Never resting, the retailer continues to seek out the best in grooming, constantly adding to and refining its product range.
Accompanying the array of international grooming brands is Men’s Biz’s very own shaving and grooming brand One Thousand & Ninety Two. While not forgetting the hair on the head, Men’s Biz will also carry an extensive range of styling products and fragrance brands including Acqua Di Parma, Czech & Speake, Naomi Goodsir, Nasomatto, Tauer, Santa Maria Novella and Penhaligon’s.
Men’s Biz is committed to offering an innovative experience, allowing visitors the ability to get hands-on with any of the products via testing stations, and (of course) by integrating the products into their barber service. Shoppers can also access thousands of online customer reviews and product ratings via their website, ensuring full satisfaction pre-purchase.
Both Men’s Biz stores within The Strand Arcade are open from 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Wednesday, 9am – 8pm on Thursday, 9am – 5:30pm on Friday, 9am – 5pm on Saturday and 11am – 4pm on Sunday.
